news from my bunker -

still on my world strike / << i.e., i've got my head in the sand watching a 6-ft under-marathon because this is what i do when i dealing with stressful issues which i'm blindly trying to wrap my mind around >>

i've burned through about 20-30 episodes in the last week... just finished the last episode of the 4th season, 18 more to go.

today i am having a blockbuster day ( or a "funny how sometimes it's better to unravel yourself from the indirect approach" day).

movies i rented today ( i'm sensing a theme which i hope is not a metaphor even though it's a bit blatant) :

Tuvalu - a fantastical french ultra-surreal movie ( or at least i am guessing by the cover).. the description said a mix of Delicatessan and Metropolis.. i guess i'll see for myself

Fire Island (which i guess was a short-lived gay sorta "reality-tv" series)

Shake it all about ( a gay danish/foreign drama )

Trans-America - i don't think this requires explaination.

met up with stephanie who has returned from her film workshop in NYC. she had a great time. tuesday we are heading up to toronto at 5am to get some writting done, some shopping, food, and the Walkmen's concert at the Phoenix.

whoo-hoo - wolf parade have announced that they will be performing at the Phoenix in August (i think).. i shall purchase tickets on tuesday.
so far stephanie and i are in.

latest references i am exploring based on latest book i am reading:

Achamoth / Anima-Animus (Jung) / Masculine psychology / Pleroma / Puer Aeternus / Sophia (gnosticism) / blueprint of the Unconscious mind

that's all for now..

btw -

very important!

For Your Consideration... as you know, there is no greater power than knowledge, so please consider passing the torch.

Thank you!

my friend stephanie has bussed it to nyc for the week to take a film class. she's going to check out kim's video on st. mark's place (in the east village) for "little otik" on dvd.

the walkmen - concert is next tuesday in toronto. i've taken the full day off. there is a great pub/restaurant in cabbage town that's makes a truckload breakfast for 7 bucks... so my day will no doubt start there and with luck, a little writing will be achieved.

dream

a few hours ago i had a dream where i was on a flight that announced they're was a bomb on board... somehow the dream shifted to my god- parnets making a big feast for about 30 people and not wanting me to assist in the preparation. the "feeling" i was getting from the dream was that they were frustrated / angry that i was there...

i can see the correlation between both dreams.

corridors

somehow i am going through a new life change and i am opening up more to the idea of working within a creative unit on experimental art and music projects... there is that daily lust to push the creative envelope, that's the feeling... funny, feelings don't make appointments as to when this will be pursued.. but i've had the craving for a while... at least the seed is planted. it's the intimate energy of a creative unit that is a bit baffling... maybe no-one has a clue to what i mean.

i'm sure it has to do with the 7th house life lesson of forging relationships whether they are platonic, sexual, or creative or a creamy blend.
